  1. Lidocaine anesthesia (If allergic, you would've had a reaction during a dental procedure.)

2.   Latex gloves.

3.   Bacitracin (antibiotic)

4. Benadryl (Causes restless legs syndrome on rare occasions.)

  • Ask all questions necessary during CONSULTATION and PRIOR to the procedure until you feel confident and comfortable.

  • Find a good date, when you will be RELAXED.

  • If you have a nervous or anxious nature, ask your physician to prescribe helpful medication such as Valium or Xanax.

  • Avoid alcohol and any blood thinning medication such as coumadin or aspirin for 24 hrs prior to procedure.

  •  Be PUNCTUAL to your appointment.

  •  COME IN WITH A CLEAN FACE. Do not wear makeup.

  • Upon arrival, take 2 Benadryl to minimize swelling and tears.

  • Close your eyes and RELAX!  Keep quiet so Jennifer can concentrate and provide you her best performance.

For Eyeliner Procedures:

  • Anxiety medication is required for all eyeliner procedures.

  • Do not wear contact lenses during eyeliner procedures and for 72 hrs after. Come in with your prescription glasses.

  • Bring sunglasses. Eyes will be light sensitive and dilated immediately after. Sunglasses will also protect from UV rays.

  • If using Latisse, discontinue using for at least one week prior to procedure.

For Lip Color Procedures:

  • Preventative fever blister prescription, from your doctor, is required. We recommend Valtrex.

  • Cut food into tiny pieces.

  • Do not stretch the lips.

  • Drink through a straw.

  • Keep smothered with ointment at all times.

  • Avoid sticking to pillow while sleeping.

What to Expect During Healing

  • Expect some swelling, redness, itching and irritation during the healing process. Do not rub!

*   Outer Healing (dermis) completes in about 7 - 10 days.  Inner healing (epidermis) completes in 1 - 2 months.

  • Touch ups may be done a month after a procedure, not sooner.  Performing a touch up too early may cause scarring and the healing process of epidermis will interfere with pigment retention.

  • Some colors take 2 months or longer to settle in and show true results. Brows will oxidize and get darker before they soften in healing.  This is normal!

  • Scabs are dark.  Permanent makeup scabs are even darker because they contain pigment.  Scabs begin to come off on their own between day 4 - 7. A lighter color will appear underneath.  The new baby skin will have a waxy texture and will fog the design a bit until healing is complete.

  • We would love to see you AFTER 28 days of procedure, NOT BEFORE, in order to see true results.

  • Lighter and / or darker colors may be applied during touch up appointment to create balance and add dimension.

  • Heavier, thicker and more dramatic designs require additional sessions to build up to.  Your skin will only allow so much trauma at a time.

  • To complete a design one or two additional tweak sessions may be necessary.

  • Exposure to sun, anti-aging products and services that contain acids, lighteners and exfoliates cause premature fading of pigment.  Avoid the pigmented areas.

  • When getting a laser treatment, remind your technician to protect your permanent makeup tattoo.

  • Keep it fresh!  Come in once a year for a touch up.  It's only $150 within 12 months of your last procedure.
