As opposed to skin rollers which encompass large areas, our treatments pin point and address specific fine lines and areas of concern such as crowfeet, frown lines, forehead lines, smile lines, upper lip lines, acne and chicken pox scars, etc
Precision Skin Needling is like pigment implantation, but without pigments (ink). A “dry needle” is directed through the center of crevices (wrinkles) or acne scars to draw a light bloodline. As the brain recognizes trauma to that area, it responds by generating collagen and elastin directing it to the affected area.
Jennifer recommends getting your procedure late in the day. Most patients look great by the next morning, after an 8 hour good night's sleep.
Skin cell renewal happens to a great extent when we are sleeping. The first stage of healing usually completes within 7 days and will continue on for 6 - 8 weeks.
Immediately after the procedure:
1) Avoid sun exposure
2) Don't touch your face
3) Go to bed early and get a good night's sleep
4) Use a gentle cleanser in the morning and apply makeup as usual.
5) Keep the treated areas moist with a light layer of petrolatum.
Most clients are pleased to see immediate results. Waking up the next morning with a beautiful glow and plump appearance due to the body's rush of collagen and Elastin to repair the wounds.
The treated areas must heal completely for 6 - 8 weeks before another treatment can be applied. Patients must follow the after care regimen. We recommend a 3 treatment package for best results.
